About NCWconnect.org

The North Central Washington Economic Development District (NCWEDD) is the federally-designated economic development district for the NCW region covering Okanogan, Chelan, and Douglas Counties and the Colville Confederated Tribe. The NCWEDD is hosting www.NCWconnect.org to provide a single access portal for business people all over North Central Washington. The NCWEDD brings together the private and public sectors in a partnership necessary to provide a coordinated strategy and an ongoing economic development program for the region.

Fostering and enhancing regional entrepreneurship and innovation is a major strategy for the membership of the NCWEDD. As such, the non-profit economic development agency is developing the following strategies targeted at this initiative:

  • Development of a mentorship program
  • Enhancement and collaboration on a regional educational program
  • Coordination of resources and development of key missing resources
  • Development of networking opportunities
